The Himalayan peony, it takes its name from the latin 'emodi montes' for the mountain range. Native to Pakiistan and West Nepal. The flowers are hermaphrodite and are pollinated by insects. Zhite petals and golden centres.

As its name suggests this lovely flower is one of the
sweetest scented peonies. From pink tinged buds emerge large double flowers of a pure white, sometimes with the mere hint of a pink blush. Some of the centre petals have some pink
flecks.

Japanese Anemone. A unique cultivar,the entire bloom is a breathtaking contrast of pink and white. (Wild & Son 1964). Full Double,light cardinal red, an unusual hue for its season, largely free of the dull purple tones seen in many Lactiflora reds. Exhibition quality, large, beautifully formed flowers. Medium tall, good foliage, stout stems, makes an upright bush; stems will bend with the heavy flowers. One the the best red doubles. Very large velvety red flowers that are unfading. Excellent plant habit.
